When you call for an appointment, you may request an appointment
with an Advanced Practice Clinician, or your physician may refer you to one for further
care. In either case, you will receive excellent care from a highly-trained
health care professional you can trust.
Physician Assistants are licensed health care professionals who have completed a condensed program of medical training based on the physician model. Although trained in primary care medicine, many PAs practice in specialty areas and may function as surgical assistants.
Advanced Practice Registered Nurses are registered nurses with advanced education, usually at the Master's degree level. An emphasis on health promotion and patient education is a key component of ARNP practice.
