Claims
We will file a claim to your
primary insurance as a courtesy to you. We also will file the
following secondary insurance:
- Tricare secondary
- Medicaid secondary
- All major secondary claims
If we do not participate with your
insurance company, you will be held responsible for 100% of the bill
at time of service.
Always contact your insurance agent or
employer to ensure that White-Wilson Medical Center participates with
your insurance plan.
Radiology/EKG/Pulmonary Services
Even if you have not seen the
radiologist or the physician reading your Diagnostic X-Ray/EKG/Pulmonary Test in
person; he/she will have studied your Diagnostic X-Ray/EKG/Pulmonary Test,
prepared a report for your physician and will bill you or your
insurance for this professional service. This will be included on your
White-Wilson Medical Center bill.
Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy services are
billed under a White-Wilson Medical Center supervising physician who
may not see you during your course of treatment.
Workers' Comp / Accident
If you have been injured in an accident and another party is
responsible for the bill, it is your responsibility to inform
White-Wilson Medical Center at the time of treatment. Payment is still
expected from you at the time of service.
Minor Patients
The adult (parent or legal guardian) accompanying the minor is
responsible for payment.
Collection Policy As stated previously herein, your co-payment/deductible is due at the
time of service. If your co-payment is not known, a co-payment or 20%
will be collected each time until the actual co-payment is determined.
Payment can be made by cash, check, money order, Visa, MasterCard,
American Express or Discover.
If your bill remains unpaid after
several attempts by us to collect, your account will be forwarded to a
collection agency for further action. White-Wilson Medical Center
cannot discuss the account or make payment arrangements after that
point. You will be notified by the collection agency of the debt.
Services may be denied or provided on a cash only basis, regardless of
insurance coverage, if we have to place your account with a collection
agency.
