Cable Business Forum November 2011 (Destin Chamber)

White-Wilson Medical Center participated in the Cox Cable business forum at Cox Studios on October 17. Dr. Christopher Hansen, Dr. Frank Francone and Andi Mahoney discussed their practices and White-Wilson Medical Center.
The program will air on Cox Cable Channel 6 Monday & Thursday at 7:30pm, every Wednesday at 9:30am, and every Sunday at 8:30 pm.

presents over $30,000 in proceeds from the Little Black Dress Party
to local charities!
|
Over 350 men and women came together to promote women’s health and raise money for local charities at White-Wilson’s second annual Little Black Dress Party on May 21, at the Emerald Coast Convention Center. The sold-out event included a Fashion Show by Dillard’s, live and silent auctions, a DJ, great food and a fabulous time! Over $30,000 was raised for Shelter House, Opportunity Place, and the local chapters of The American Cancer Society and The American Heart Association. On September 1, 2011, White-Wilson Medical Center presented each charity with a check of more than $7,000!

Employer Services Sponsors SHRM-ECC Meeting

To promote the many services offered by White-Wilson Medical Center Employer Services, WWMC sponsored the Society of Human Resource Management’s monthly meeting on August 17. The dinner was hosted at Tommy Mattonie’s in Fort Walton Beach. Kate Silva, PA-C, a new addition to the WWMC family, informed professionals of the wide range of services available using a creative game of BINGO. All attendees seemed to enjoy the game and WWMC staff had a great time!

Cable Business Forum August 2011 (Fort Walton Chamber)

White-Wilson Medical Center participated in the Cox Cable business forum at Cox Studios on August 3. Drs. Karl Metz, Connie Richardson and Doug Rigby discussed their practices and how they got into medicine with the Fort Walton Beach Chamber Chairman, Lisa Jo Spencer.
In a later segment, Alan Gieseman, CEO for White-Wilson, and Jason Clarke, Priority One Insurance, discussed the upcoming H.C. White golf tournament with Lisa Jo. The tournament is September 16, and White-Wilson is proud to be the title sponsor for the tournament honoring Dr. Henry White for the 6th consecutive year!
The program will air throughout the month of August on Cox Cable, Channel 6, every Wednesday at 11 AM and 5:30 PM, and every Thursday at 7:30 PM.

White-Wilson Medical Center hosted the 2011 Little Black Dress Party on May
21 to increase awareness of the importance of preventive healthcare and to raise money for local charities. The event was attended by over 350 people and raised over $30,000 for the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, Shelter House and Opportunity Place.

Center Hosts the Chamber's First Friday Coffee

As part of its continuing partnership with the Greater Fort Walton Beach community, White-Wilson Medical Center sponsored the First Friday Coffee for the Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce at the St. Mary’s Family Life Center on May 6. In an effort to have as much fun as possible at such an early hour, WWMC hosted its very own version of Jeopardy! Dr. Capra (Orthopaedic Surgeon) hosted the game show as Alex Trebek and the contestants included Dr. Karl Metz (Gynecologist), Dr. David Creamer (Pain Management Specialist) and Dr. Connie Richardson (Family Practice Physician). The event was a great success!
