About Dr. Smith
Irina Smith, M.D. is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and joined the White-Wilson Medical Center Pediatrics team in Fort Walton Beach in 2017. She has been caring for children and patients since 1993 and relocated to the Emerald Coast from Topeka, Kansas in 2017.
Dr. Smith received her medical doctor degree from Russia and completed her residency in Pediatrics at University of Kansas School of Medicine. She is passionate about helping people, especially children. She loves watching her patients grow from infancy to young adults and helping families solve problems concerning their children's health.
Dr. Smith specializes in general pediatric care, wellness care, preventative medicine, sick childcare, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses and sports physicals for children from 0 to 18 years of age. She also has a special interest in skin disorders and children with Down Syndrome.
Dr. Smith also holds a medical degree from Russia, and is fluent in Russian.
When she is not in the Pediatric Clinic, Dr. Smith enjoys reading, walking on the beach, shopping, exercising and trying to keep up with her family and friends.
