The well-child visit is to assess the overall health of your child’s  growth, development, and emotional well-being. During these visits, your child is screened for hidden health issues and immunized against certain infectious diseases, and routine concerns about the child’s health, behavior, and development are addressed. More complex issues often require separate appointments to be fully evaluated.
